Hi Jason This test was conducted by INTEK and INOPIA, and the test results are different for both. So SKB requested this test to us. Since webview on FXN Smart3 cannot be tested, SKB requested to test using YouTube app. https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/FSTB12-4 Please let me how to signning the YouTube app with the FXN platform key. Hi YK, I can't understand your question. If the YT signed with FXN's platform key, the YT can not be updated by PlayStore (because key is not match) Currently, all GTVS packages are PRESIGNED by Google. Thanks, Jason |

HI Jason To explain further HomeUI has used xwalk so far, but xwalk is no longer available on ATV12 because of selinux ( /dev/ashmem issue) So HomeUI should use webview or chromium. If the HomeUI uses chromium, additional libraries must be applied. If the HomeUI uses webview, HomeUI can use the existing google webview. The problem here is that webview is updated by Google. when an update occurs in this webview, the HomeUI will be restarted and increasing the VoC ( the FXN Smart3 model has been blocked by Google to prevent webview updates. however, INTEK/INNOPIA will be updated. ) The purpose of this test is that Google app(webview) signed with platform key is expected to not be updated. but test result is - the test result of INTEK was updated after signing with the platform key - the test result of INNOIPIA has not been updated after signing with platform key. The test results of the two companies are different. So SKB requested me one more time. SKB requested to test with YouTube because FXN Smart3 cannot be tested with webview This is the history so far. Hi YK, Blocking GTVS updates is NOT acceptable to Google, and there is a risk of certification. In TVTS certification, before running test command, we MUST update all Google app from PlayStore. (Please check Tvts-Setup.jpg) Based on the past experience, the future TVTS tool will require newer GTVS version, if the version of prebuilt GTVS is too old, we can update it by PlayStore. If SKB blocking GTVS update, the version of GTVS will not meet TVTS requirement, we can NOT execute TVTS. Thanks, Jason Tvts-Setup.jpg (44,940 bytes) |
